Many of our patients like to know what their copay will be for treatment prior to scheduling. That used to mean waiting, sometimes up to six weeks, to hear back from your insurance company. Did you know that we no longer need to send out predeterminations to give you an estimated copay? We can access most of our patients’ dental policies online and give estimated copay amounts and get you scheduled right away. It’s important to note that sometimes not all treatment is covered by your insurance company. That does not mean that the treatment does not need to be done, only that your insurance policy does not cover it. We recommend treatment based on the oral health needs of our patients, not based on what your insurance will cover. Our patients’ oral health is our top priority.
