Crowns/Cosmetic Dentistry
Patient profile: B is a middle aged female with fantastic dental hygiene. She had inquired about the gum irritation around one of her old front crowns, and made us aware that she did not like the way it looks. Upon examination, the crown was found to have a small cavity around the back side and was recommended to be replaced. B was very clear that aesthetics were very important in the final result. All of her options were discussed, and B opted to have both front teeth crown for symmetry and maximum aesthetics.
The First visit: B was very excited to have this work done, so that she could one again be happy with her smile. The old crown was taken off, and both teeth were prepared for the new non-metal crowns. Special care was taken to select the right shading for the new crowns. Shade-matched temporary crowns were cemented for B, and she already was very happy with the aesthetics that same day.
The Second visit: B’s temporary crowns were taken off, and the teeth were cleaned thoroughly. The new crowns were tried in, and then B was sat up and given a mirror so that she could assess the new crowns. She approved of the aesthetics and fit of the new crowns, and they were permanently bonded into place. B was very happy with the final results, and had a smile from ear to ear on the way out.

Everything went well and I have no problem with the crown. Thanks for the successful and well-built crown.
